30th July 2020 - Florac

Got up early and had a great mountain run.  Then rushed back to drive to Tarn gorge for Kayaking.  Had a brilliant afternoon despite the 40 degree heat.

Finished the day with a meal out in Florac.

Spent the weekend doing the Lakesman h Tri (5hr36) Weather was surprising good and we had a great weekend. Even managed to eat in the Dog and gun. Which was average. Travelled to Boot on Monday. Tuesday was a glorious day and we hiked Harter Fell coming back by Hardnott Pass and the Roman fort. Ate in the Woolpack last night. Tatty pot was excellent. This morning I ran Illgill Head / Whin Rigg. About 11 miles. Weather has been crap and we have sat around most of the day apart from a stroll through Howes wood.  Going to Boot Inn tonight.

20th July 2020 - Lauterbrunnen

Got the train to Wengen today and then cable car to the mountain tops. We then hiked mainly down trails all the way back to catch the train back. Great day. Really hot and we walked 13 miles.  Saw the north face of the Eiger. Scenery was spectacular.  Had a couple of beers on the way down. Happy days!
